I this episode I'm joined by Kat Gower and we talk about the importance of providing accessible opportunities at challenge events, and also what challenge event managers can do to make sure the registration process for their events is inclusive.
Kat took part in some really exciting challenge events in Nepal, Costa Rica, and Jordan, raising £25, 000 for charity prior to being diagnosed with a long term health condition.
Kat now supports her partner in regular challenges, but still looks for opportunities to be involved herself. She's an advocate for inclusive and accessible opportunities and currently works with Astrid, a charity which provides employment support for people with long term health conditions.
