Patrick returns to Musical Chairs as the guys cover two more epic bands from the pages of rock's history book. For several weeks now, Patrick has made it known that he planned on covering Alice In Chains for his next band, and that would come to pass with this Episode. Formed in the late 80s, Alice In Chains rose to rock prominence in the early 90's with some of the most iconic songs from that entire era. Despite losing one of the most recognizable frontmen of that time frame (Layne Staley), the band has forged on and is still making great music to this day. Dave, on the other hand, covers Rainbow. After leaving Deep Purple, Ritchie Blackmore created Rainbow, and despite an ever-changing lineup of singers and band members, Rainbow certainly left its mark and became a staple of the early days of MTV. It's another great installment of Musical Charis that you won't want to miss.

The latest Star Wars series, The Acolyte, caused a definite disturbance in The Force among the Nerds this week. The guys discuss the first two Episodes but take a larger look at how the rampant review bombing of series like The Acolyte makes it very difficult to focus on valid issues and concerns fans might have about a series. In any event, the Nerds had some issues with the new show to be sure but was it enough to turn them off from the series entirety after just two Episodes. A visit to the Trailer Park looks at the latest for Season 3 of The Legend of Vox Machina, the third installment of the Venom series, and the latest entry from the Aliens franchise that definitely harkens back to the feel of the original movie from 1979! In News Around The Nerdosphere, Godzilla: Minus One continues to rewrite the record books, a favorite from the MCU retires, and casting rumors for the upcoming Beatles biopic has the guys excited.

The Big Five Project returns here on Episode 293. It's the Attitude Of Aggression and it is time to return for another installment in the chronological analysis, review, and discussion about WWE’s Big Five PPVs/ Premium Live Events. On this Episode, the guys cover Summer Slam '93. Hulkamania is officially dead, and Vince McMahon looked to Lex Luger to be the next big thing. He would not have quite the success he hoped for.... but we are jumping aboard The Lex Express on this Episode anyway. Summer Slam' 93 featured some good matches and great moments, but it largely fell flat. Anchored by the face turns of Razor Ramon and Lex Luger, we also got an underwhelming dream match between Shawn Michaels and Mr. Perfect. Bret Hart continued to really make a name for himself in his match against Jerry Lawler and The Undertaker finally laid the Giant Gonzales to rest. While certainly not the best PPV of 1993, Summer Slam '93 still had its share of key moments that would propel us forward for the rest of 1993 and into 1994.
