Episode 21, "Unity in the Trinity"; Segment on the Holy Spirit; Series, "Step into His Presence"
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
11/23/24 • 11 min
Episode 21” The Unity of the Trinity “ Series: “Step into His Presence”
There is no rivalry between God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Welcome to Episode 21 of our segment on the Holy Spirit, "The Unity of the Trinity."
In a previous podcast, we discussed that God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not rivals but united as One. We must understand this because when we pray, we need complete confidence that the Holy Spirit is taking our request to the throne of God as our intercessor here on Earth.
We explore how the Holy Spirit was treated as if He were not part of the Godhead, the heresies that led to this exclusion, a man named Tertullian who gave the Holy Spirit His proper place in the Godhead, coining the word "Trinity"; and supporting scriptures that show the "Unity of the Trinity."
Thank you for joining us today. And join us next time for another segment on the Holy Spirit as we “Step into His Presence.”
In closing, if you have not received Jesus as your Savior and Lord, today would be a good day to do so. Romans 10:9 says, if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved, that is, saved from a life of sinning against God to a life of serving Him and spending eternity with Him.

Woman at the Well, Bible Bad Girls Gone Good
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
07/19/20 • 18 min
Married five times and still in search of peace, comfort, and security. Then she met a man who said He would be her Peace, He would be her Comforter and He would be her Provider. That man was Jesus and the woman was a Samaritan whom we know as the Woman at the Well. At one time, she was the object of scorn, but her scorn became her testimony, and those who heard her testimony became Believers in Jesus.
Today, we will expound on the truth and destroy another myth about a so-called bad girl of the Bible.

Day 2 "Modern-Day Shepherds" feature Pastor James - CGM Christmas Podcast
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
12/02/20 • 13 min
Charles George Missions Presents: Day 2 – Christmas Podcast – “Modern‐Day Shepherds”
Hello and welcome to Day 2 of our Christmas Podcast. We are bringing these daily Christmas podcasts to encourage and lift you up during this season. We are also lifting up the name of Jesus because this is who we celebrate at this time of year. Today we are going to look at the shepherds, the caretakers of the sheep, who were among the first to receive the good news of Jesus’ birth. We give special recognition today to the caretakers in our society – our health care workers, first responders, caretakers in the home, and all those who have been there in some way for those who are suffering during these challenging times. These are the modern‐day shepherds caring for the sheep.
Today, James McNear, a pastor, accomplished musician and composer, and founder of Macattack Records, will share his favorite Christmas memory and gift. CGM collaborated with Pastor McNear to produce CGM’s Christmas album, “We Love Christmas” selections of which we play on these podcasts.
The album “We Love Christmas” is a production of Charles George Missions and Macattack Productions and may be ordered on Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify and other platforms.
We close this podcast with the guitar instrumentals of James McNear and Gilbert Clay, Jr. playing “Little Drummer Boy.”

Episode 10, Part 1 "The Four Horsemen and the Four Seals, "Revelation Expectations"
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
05/11/23 • 18 min
Episode 10, Revelation 6, “Six Seals Revealed”
Hello and welcome to our series, “Revelation Expectations.” Today’s Episode 10, Part 1, is entitled “The Four Horsemen and the Four Seals” We are your hosts for today's presentation, Apostle Charles Wright and Dr. Stephanie Wright, D.Jur.
We invite you to listen to the previous episode and if you are just joining us, listen to Episode 1, as well. Today's episode explains the four horsemen, the Tribulation, and the Great Tribulation among other topics.
Jesus told John in Chapter 1:19, to write about the things which he had seen, which were now, and which are to come. Jesus also said in Revelation 1:3, we are blessed if we read and hear the words that He told John to write about and send to the seven churches listed in Chapters 1-3. We are the church, and that message is to us. Jesus’ words that “the time is at hand,” are very important because we do not know when He will return. Chapter 1:7 says, “Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” This alludes to the previous chapters we covered because in those chapters, those who receive Jesus as their Savior and Lord are caught up to meet him in the air or raptured when He returns. Read I Thessalonians 4:16-17. If you have invited Jesus into your heart and know Him as your Savior and Lord, you do not need to fear the end times or the Tribulation period that begins with today’s chapter and goes through Chapter 18. If you have not invited Jesus into your heart, now would be a good time to do so. That is a good lead into today’s presentation about, “The Four Horsemen and the Four Seals.”

“More Than Conquerors” Episode 3, “Wise Woman Conquers Warriors” Subtitle: “Fools, Fear, and Food!"

“More Than Conquerors” Episode 3: “Wise Woman Conquers Warriors” Subtitle: “Fools, Fear, and Food”
He rode with 600 men, armed with the weapons of war prepared to kill his enemy. But he was intercepted by his enemy’s wife and her small entourage of servants. This woman completely disarmed and conquered this mighty warrior and his men. Her name is Abigail and the warrior is David, who would one day be King of Israel. Today, we will find out how Abigail overcame fear and conquered David in this episode of “More Than Conquerors.” My name is Stephanie Wright. Let’s get started.
Hello Everyone and welcome to Episode 3, of our series, “More Than Conquerors.” This series is about overcoming and conquering fear. Today we will have a brief review of past episodes, then we will start Episode 3, “Wise Woman Conquers Warriors” Subtitle: “Fools, Fear, and Food” based on 1 Samuel 25. I will also be sharing a personal experience I had with overcoming and conquering fear. We encourage you to listen to Episodes 1 and 2 of this series. In Episode 1, we interviewed Apostle Charles G. Wright and learned how he overcame and conquered his fears in war and received the Bronze Star with the “V” Device (for heroism) and the Purple Heart (for injuries he sustained in war). In Episode 2, we listed five points on how to overcome and conquer fear learned from Episode 1. We also studied the roots of fear and how it was the first emotion Adam and Eve experienced after they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We believe that is the reason fear is a favorite tool of the devil to try to intimidate us and why the topic of fear is so prevalent in the Bible. We also emphasized that God has not given us the spirit of fear but love, power and a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7.
