Episode 21, "Unity in the Trinity"; Segment on the Holy Spirit; Series, "Step into His Presence"
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
11/23/24 • 11 min
Episode 21” The Unity of the Trinity “ Series: “Step into His Presence”
There is no rivalry between God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Welcome to Episode 21 of our segment on the Holy Spirit, "The Unity of the Trinity."
In a previous podcast, we discussed that God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not rivals but united as One. We must understand this because when we pray, we need complete confidence that the Holy Spirit is taking our request to the throne of God as our intercessor here on Earth.
We explore how the Holy Spirit was treated as if He were not part of the Godhead, the heresies that led to this exclusion, a man named Tertullian who gave the Holy Spirit His proper place in the Godhead, coining the word "Trinity"; and supporting scriptures that show the "Unity of the Trinity."
Thank you for joining us today. And join us next time for another segment on the Holy Spirit as we “Step into His Presence.”
In closing, if you have not received Jesus as your Savior and Lord, today would be a good day to do so. Romans 10:9 says, if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved, that is, saved from a life of sinning against God to a life of serving Him and spending eternity with Him.

Woman at the Well, Bible Bad Girls Gone Good
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
07/19/20 • 18 min
Married five times and still in search of peace, comfort, and security. Then she met a man who said He would be her Peace, He would be her Comforter and He would be her Provider. That man was Jesus and the woman was a Samaritan whom we know as the Woman at the Well. At one time, she was the object of scorn, but her scorn became her testimony, and those who heard her testimony became Believers in Jesus.
Today, we will expound on the truth and destroy another myth about a so-called bad girl of the Bible.

Episode 15, "Women Who Got What They Want (Rizpah), In the Heart of God"
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
05/30/22 • 12 min
Hello and welcome to Episode 15 in our series, “In the Heart of God.” My name is Stephanie Wright. Today, we continue our theme, “Women Who Got What They Wanted.” When what we want is in the heart of God, we will get what we want. We will discuss a woman named Rizpah who fought valiantly for six months to protect the bodies of her sons and another woman’s sons until they could receive a proper burial. We will explore Rizpah’s history and how we can apply her challenges to our own lives.
But, before we get started, we want to remember we are celebrating Memorial Day in the United States, a time to honor the men and women who sacrificed their lives so we could live a life of freedom. So, please remember to take a few moments out of your day to honor them and their memory.
Now, please listen to the podcast about a woman named Rizpah.
So, are you going to get what you want from God? As we end this podcast, our prayer is that you will be like Rizpah and stay focused on what you want. Trust God to protect you against your adversary Satan who wants to destroy your plans for success like the prey in Rizpah’s story. Most of all, remember that Jesus is with you, He hears you when you pray, He knows your heart’s desire, and He will give you what you need and want when it is in the heart of God. “I know the thoughts that I have toward you, thoughts of good and not of evil to give you your expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11.
Thank you for joining us today. Now let’s go to Apostle Charles Wright as he closes us with contact information.

Day 8, "Promises Fulfilled" featuring Vivian - CGM Christmas Podcast
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
12/08/20 • 13 min
Charles George Missions Presents: Day 8 – Christmas Podcast – “Promise Fufilled”
Hello and welcome to Day 8, of CGMissions Christmas Podcast. Today’s podcast is entitled “Promises Fulfilled.” These podcasts which started on December 1 and will go through December 25, are brought to encourage you as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Today, we will see how God kept His promise to two people who waited patiently and trusted Him for their prayer to be answered. Stay with us to the end of this podcast because we always play a portion of the Christmas CD, “We Love Christmas” some of which you hear playing in the background now.
But first, we will start with what is known as our Memory Share in which a person shares a favorite Christmas memory or gift. Today, Vivian from St. Louis will share her favorite Christmas memory and gift.
Today we learn that God always keeps His promises. One of the overriding themes of this Christmas podcast is that when Jesus came to this earth, He brought with Him all the promises of God; he brought everything we need to live life abundantly. John 10:10b. We may grow impatient and think He has forgotten us but, unlike man, God does not forget. We are going to look at two people who waited for many years to see God fulfill His promise to them and those two people are Anna and Simeon.
Our scriptures are found in Luke 2:25‐27 and 36‐38.

Episode 31, "Thank You Podcast 2022" In the Heart of God
CGM Presents: In the Word Podcast
11/24/22 • 5 min
CHARLES: Hello and welcome to our "Thank You Podcast for 2022." This is Apostle Charles Wright.
STEPHANIE: And this is Stephanie Wright.
CHARLES: Psalm 136 says, "O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever. Oh, give thanks unto the Lord." This is Apostle Charles Wright.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year, we want to thank our listeners for tuning in to this podcast. Thanks to you, we have reached 52 countries and almost 900 cities worldwide!
STEPHANIE: We also thank you for your financial support, letters, texts, emails, and phone calls that have inspired us to press on with passion in our purpose. That purpose is to encourage and uplift you to live an abundant life in Christ through each season in your walk with Him.
CHARLES: You are a blessing to us. Most of all, we thank God for his blessings this past year and for giving us His direction on each podcast. Our theme throughout 2022 was "In the Heart of God." We started with God's Word because the Word is God's Heart because Jesus is the Word. Some of the topics we covered included: Christ - His death and resurrection; Jesus' return; Jesus as our living hope; wisdom, peace, heaven, women and men and their relationship with God, and we covered eight weeks on dreams, visions, and thoughts and how God speaks to our hearts.
CHARLES: The past year, 2022, brought some financial, physical, emotional, and other hardships. Our hearts go
out to you. Please remember that "Our God" sees, knows, and He cares and has not forgotten you. We continue to seize onto His Holy Word, which says, "He will never leave us nor forsake us." Hebrews 13:5. Deuteronomy 31:6 tells us to be strong and of good courage and not be afraid, for the Lord, our God, will not fail us nor forsake us. So, although we may feel forsaken, it is just a feeling, it is not a fact, and most of all, it is not the truth.
STEPHANIE: Beginning December 1 and throughout the month of December, we encourage you to listen to select Christmas podcasts, which include special guest appearances, scriptures, and portions of CGM's Christmas CD, "We Love Christmas." A single song or the entire CD may be ordered on our website at cgmissions.com/podcast
CHARLES: We will also be planning for the next year, 2023, so please pray for us. If you have suggestions for next year, please email us at cgmprese:[email protected]
And if you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, or you have turned away from Him, invite him into your heart today. Call on him to save your life to a life that pleases God. Then, you will experience the true meaning of Christmas.
STEPHANIE: In closing, I always like to remind listeners of my motto since 1998, "Don't Let Anything Steal Your Christmas." That's what happened to me. I let someone steal my Christmas, and it wasn't the Grinch. But after that experience, I refused to let anything or anyone steal my Christmas.
CHARLES: So, have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving, a Blessed Christmas, and a Joyous New Year. And be sure to tune in on December 1 as we start the Christmas podcasts.
