Artivist Nikkolas Smith tells "CBS This Morning" co-host Anthony Mason how the death of Trayvon Martin and the Black Lives Matter protested that erupted in its aftermath propelled him to process his mentions through art. Since then images created by Smith in response to social events have gone viral. Last after, the 35-year-old left his job at Disney to focus full-time on creating art.

Video emerges in another troubling incident ending in a black man's death following an encounter with police. Daniel Prude died of suffocation after officers put a hood over his head while arresting him. A protest was held yesterday where it happened in Rochester, New York. It's Joe Biden's turn to go to Kenosha, Wisconsin where a police officer shot Jacob Blake seven times last month. The Democratic nominee's visit comes two days after President Trump toured the city, and after a new poll found the president trailing in that crucial state. During his trip to North Carolina, the president encouraged his supporters to test the system for voting by mail in a way that could be illegal. In a letter obtained by CBS News, the director of the CDC is calling on all states to have vaccine distribution sites "fully operational by November 1st," just two days before the general election. Baseball is mourning the loss of one of its greatest pitchers, Tom Seaver. The hall of famer known as "Tom Terrific" died on Monday, of causes related to dementia and the coronavirus.
