This week Very Bad Words, a podcast in which Matt Fidler finds the meaning behind the words we grew up hearing were bad, taboo, naughty, no no, and the list goes on. But how did they become that? What are the roots of the words? What was the initial meaning or use for it?
Matt Fidler has a way of describing and interviewing people who love, use and some who even have education on Very Bad words so he said fuck it I’m going to make a podcast.

True Spies
CastJunkie
11/02/20 • 7 min
Hosted by Hayley Atwell in season 1 and Vanessa Kirby in season 2, True Spies brings us the stories of real spies and their incredible stories. The thing I love about these stories is that not only are they extremely well narrated throughout the episodes they also give us a chance to hear about the spy operation from the spies themselves. From the start of their career to the mission that made their entire career.

The Habitat

03/10/20 • 7 min
The Habitat is a show documenting an experiment put on by NASA. What would happen if we tried to colonize Mars? How would we as humans react to being stuck with only a handful people for days, months or even years? The Habitat tries to answer this question with a Habitat made on a remote mountain of Hawaii. Six very real people signed up for this experiment and document their lives for one very real year to be stuck inside this fake planet. They must work together to survive.

REWIND: Bronzeville
CastJunkie
04/20/20 • 5 min
Welcome to Bronzeville a corner of Chicago ran by African Americans for the betterment of the African Americans back in the 1940’s.
Bronzeville was a place where African Americans could prosper. They had this thing called “Running The Numbers” which in today’s world we’d call the Lottery. This is a HIGHLY scripted and theatrical show which reminds me of the radio drama’s my grandparents loved. Bronzeville is the story of Jimmy Tillman which is on the run and ends up in Bronzeville. Taking a place as a foot Soldier for the Copelands.
