Cash Considerations - JOE Public, JOE Schmo or J.O.? THIS IS THE SHOW
play

04/23/21 • 76 min

This week, the Consig made a call to the bullpen and got a closer to throw heat with the boys. THIS IS THE SHOW. Joe Raineri (@JoeRaineri), Director of Programming of WagerTalk TV, joins Dave, Carl and Neuby with another April edition of the Cash Considerations Show.
Listen as Joe tells the boys how he went from New York high school baseball star to the Director of Programming for Wagertalk TV. After a long run as a morning radio host, Joe went all in with technology & started producing gambling shows. He is no ordinary Joe and not just another pretty face. It’s Joe makin’ it rain from Miami, and even if Dave can’t spell it at the start of the show, you will know Joe Raineri by the end of the interview.
Joe sticks around with the boys to talk sports, gambling and life. First stop is the NFL draft. Dave talks about booking the draft from behind the counter while Neuby plays rock, paper, scissors. Carl says the Pats are playing chess with the 15th pick, and Joe gives you the harsh reality of being a Jets fan and watching them take another QB while Miami keeps making moves around Tua. QB talk & a Brady mention for the cash.
The NBA is next. The Sixers are still leading the East, but are they for real? Joe gives you his thoughts, and it’s better than a Joel Embid slam dunk. Philly hasn’t won a game all week, and despite Carl’s tenacious defense, somehow, Neuby PLAYS THE SONG. Hascall delivers the buzzer beater though with some Celtics talk as they continue to win games. Dave gives CH a pocket pass, and Carl converts with a wager on the C’s week ahead. The passion is real for #AnybodyButTheNets.
It’s late in the third period of hockey season, but there is always time to “Pull the Goalie.” Can we just get to the playoffs already? Are Carl’s Bruins ever going to lose again? The boys skate through this segment and pass the puck like a tic-tac-toe, picture perfect goal. No trips to the penalty box, and even pretty boy Joe takes a shift. The boys come over the boards, go top shelf, and get you ready for the stretch run to the Stanley Cup.
Baseball season is about 20 games in, and Dave is on the mound bringing the cheese. Of course, there is Padres-Dodgers weekend series talk, but the boys are chirping in the dugout so you know what comes up. We go back to the dogs, and Yankee guy Joe lines up with Red Sox guy Carl on the ketchup line. Phillie Phanatic Neuby goes down swingin’ but not before there is a “Yankees suck” cheer with a little mustard.
Lastly, the coordinating producer/social media manager/co host Carl H-A-S-C-A-L-L stepped into the batter’s box with the “Carl’s Corner” segment of the show. Fresh off his vacation to Aruba, CH asked each of the boys to tell the story of their first wager. Everybody remembers their first and there isn’t always money involved. Carl started things off with a yes/no for extra credit. Neuby didn’t need a nipple when he made his first wager, but caught a glimpse of one when he won his. Of course, Raineri was picking winners at the track with his dad as a kid, and the rest is history. And Dave recounted his own big win with his dad, Big E, the OG Consig, on his Steelers for a grocery dollar.
With the bets in, and the game in the bottom of the ninth, The Take a Minute segment on the Cash Considerations show was like family night at the ballpark. Carl got a shot to go see his sister 15 minutes away after a year apart, Noobs wondered why health food tastes like shit, Joe wants us all to talk less and listen more, and Dave & Little Consig Kendyl remind us all to check the wind before placing a wager.
Sit back, listen in & laugh a little to this “First Bet” episode of the Cash Considerations podcast. Share/rate/review the show.

This week, the Consig made a call to south Jersey, and a Philly guy who knows the Right Side answered. THIS IS THE SHOW. Donnie “RightSide” Seymour (@RightSideVP), NFL & MLB host on SBR Sportspicks & co host on SiriusXM & SportsGrid TV, joins Dave, Carl & Neuby with the dog days of August edition of the Cash Considerations Show.
Listen as Donnie tells the boys his story from growing up in south Jersey to handicapping games & hosting shows about sports gambling. After a storied high school athletic career as a wide receiver in a veer offense, Rightside graduated college & got into the mortgage business. Not a fan of math, Donnie became a sandwich guy and got into the sub shop business. While dealing chicken cutlets and cheesesteaks, Donnie found his knack of finding the “Right Side” of games could be a career, and he went all in.
An Eagle fan from birth, Donnie used his football training and knowledge to get into the handicapping business. From there, he started hosting shows, and now you can find Donnie hosting national shows on SiriusXM 204 and SportsGridTV with Kevin Walsh everyday. From the parking lot of Eagles games to being on the side of buses in the NYC, Donnie likes to walk & talk sports, and he is just getting started. Get on the RightSide with the boys this week in tasty interview with Donnie “RightSide” Seymour.
First up in sports this week, the boys went to NBA free agency. Dave asked if it does anything for you, and the guys weighed in. Donnie took the first shot, Carl added the Lakers to his #AnybodyButTheNets and Neuby brought back the song! The shot clock went off as did CH’s WiFi, and the boys went to the diamond for MLB.
Dave forgot to say bon dia, bon tarde, bon noche again but the baseball segment is all about the East. The trade deadline was tremendous, but, after the moves, who is going to win the AL East? Donnie says the Red Sox will find a way, Dave reminds him that the Yankees have a softball team that K Dub loves, and what about the Jays and Rays? Where is Carl? With a couple Philly guys, Dave asked if it was time for the Phillies to make their run. Neuby knows what to do and hit it out like Harper. Donnie came in to close it while CH was warming up in the bullpen. Are you ready for some football?!?
The NFL Hall of Fame game is Thursday. Dave asked if anybody gives a shit or if anybody knows shit. Neuby got under center and quarterbacked the first CC Football segment since the draft. It looks like football, sounds like football, but what is the right side and will you bet it? Listen as the boys get their reps in.
Lastly, the coordinating producer/social media manager/co host Carl H-A-S-C-A-L-L had one question on “Carl’s Corner” segment of the show. Food and football go together so CH wanted to know what is your tailgate food go to? Neuby the Foody kicked it off with a bacon wrap, and Donnie returned it with a monster spread. Dave just wanted sausage & peppers and Carl added onions. You will be hungry after the visit to the Corner this week, but the menu is a winner.
As it always does, The Take a Minute segment closed the show on Cash Considerations. Neuby asked what the world would look like without a ship, CH asked for a line of credit, Donnie asked for less streams and Dave can’t wait to for school to start.
Sit back, listen in & laugh a bunch to this preseason tailgate August episode of the Cash Considerations podcast.
