"...the unknown is very very scary. But you know what's more scary? Living an unfulfilled life, not doing all the things that you want to do." ~ Dr. Nicole Grimes.
People are often afraid of the unknown, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. Dr. Nicole Grimes shares her story about how she learned to embrace fear and uncertainty when it came time for her career change from academia into small business ownership. She found success by pushing through with what made sense even when she experienced fear, doubt, imposter syndrome and a pandemic.

Growing the Audience for Caribbean Films
In this episode we explore the Caribbean film industry and the challenges Caribbean filmmakers face in reaching their audience.
We chatted with Jamaican-born, Rachel Osbourne, who is dedicated to helping Caribbean filmmakers reach their audience through her media platform JulieMango.TV.
According to Rachel, the major issue the Caribbean film industry faces is not a lack of good films, but a poor distribution and marketing system for them. We also discussed the idea that the Caribbean audience is generally unaware of the availability of films from the region, which results in low viewership and the belief that the audience is not interested in Caribbean content.
