I also look at recent Canuck news including a depth signing and how I feel about the news that Edler and Tanev will not be shopped, and Miller will probably be resigned.
We're finally here! The Cup Finals is going on as I type! In fact, it is already 4 games in - and things are going, pretty much, exactly as predicted... sort of... you're just going to have to listen- but I'm not wrong yet, I'll say that.
Oh, and you may have noticed the link at the top of the screen- Canucks Corner is now on Google Play! So, go ahead and play the pod from that store now if you need. Let me know if there is any issues- just email me if you come across anything worth noting.

Welcome to the second playoff pod where I look at my second round predictions, discuss Round 2 in detail, and move on to my Round 3 predictions (which are already in a little trouble! lol).
I also look at recent Canuck news including the hiring of Travis Green, and rant about the NHL Draft Lottery. I include another soapbox moment about concussions along the way and in general have a pretty emotional time of it.
We're almost there! The Cup Finals are just around the corner, so stay tuned... things are heating up!

Welcome to a special edition of Canucks Corner! This is the much suggested, but never promised, Stanley Cup Finals edition!
Today I look at Game 6 of the 2017 Stanley Cup Finals between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Nashville Predators. The Penguins are up 3 games to 2, and they return to Nashville to try to win their second Stanley Cup in a row, while the Preds try desperately to push the series to a Game 7 back in Pittsburgh.
I also have a special guest joining me on this special pod. My son, Aidan, joins me during the Postgame show, to talk about his favourite team and how they did.
It's a short episode, and one note that I have to correct is I mention that Matt Murray is the first player to win Cups in his first two years- that is untrue- in fact, he is the first goalie to win Cups in his first two years. Even Ken Dryden had to wait another year before he got his second. Remember kids: Knowing is half the battle!
