This feud led to the kidnapping of Ben's brother, 15-year-old Nick Markowitz. Jesse and two of his friends smuggled Nick to Santa Barbara. There they untied Nick and partied with him for the next several days. However, only days after his kidnapping, Nick was found murdered in the San Padres National Forest. Did Jesse James order Nick's murder? Or had his friends taken it upon themselves to murder their new friend?
