Sara Stanizai (she/her) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the owner of Prospect Therapy, a queer and trans affirming therapy practice with a special focus on mental health for first-generation, immigrant, and bicultural communities. She is also on the board of the LA Bi Task Force which promotes education, advocacy and visibility for the Bi+ community in Los Angeles. Dr. Rabkin is a general psychiatrist, working with a variety of patients in her outpatient practice. While she specializes in medication management, she uses a multimodal approach with clients that draws upon psychotherapy, mindfulness work, Yoga psychology, and other integrative practices.

Dr. Rabkin obtained her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology from Rice University. She went on to earn her MD from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency training at the University of Southern California, where her training included women’s mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and psychiatric consultation for medically ill persons with mental health needs.

Passionate about the complex interplay between medical illness and mental health, Dr. Rabkin went on to complete specialty fellowship training in consult-liaison psychiatry at Stanford University. Her training included experience with psycho-oncology, transplant psychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine. She is currently undergoing yoga teacher certification training to further enhance her ability to provide holistic care for her clients.

Leslie Davenport is a climate psychology educator and consultant who brings applied neuroscience into interdisciplinary dialogues that advance creative engagement with climate change issues. Leslie is a founding member of the Institute for Health & Healing, one of the nations’ first and largest hospital-based integrative medicine programs. Her 25 years of medical experience developing an empowering and collaborative approach to resolving crises has informed her climate psychology model.

She is the author of three books including Emotional Resiliency in the Era of Climate Change and she is completing a similar book for kids through the American Psychological Association's Magination Press. She helped shaped the document: “Mental Health and Our Changing Climate: Impacts, Implications, and Guidance.” Leslie is on faculty with the California Institute of Integral Studies and serves as an advisor with Project InsideOut.

Dr. David Sheski is a board-certified general psychiatrist who practices in CalPsychiatry’s Echo Park and Pasadena Offices, and uses a secure and private video communication platform for Telehealth visits.

He studied both psychology and film as an undergraduate at the University of Southern California, before going on to earn his MD from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, his home state. He completed his psychiatry training at the UCLA/Olive View Residency Program, and went on to finish subspecialty training by way of a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry/Psychosomatic Medicine, in which he is also board certified.

Dr. Sheski offers medication management with a focus in the areas of general anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, and OCD. By way of his fellowship training, he also specializes in the treatment of both women and men in the peripartum period and patients with complex medical histories, including those with hematologic and solid organ transplants, cancer, auto-immune conditions, and neurological conditions.

An artist and a writer, he has a unique and special interest in the mental health of creatives, and the way in which the creative process can help patients heal past traumas, cope with current stressors, and actualize life goals.
