Why do I say this? In the last Tip for Tuesday we talked about not getting caught up in the comparison trap with colleagues or people you view as competitors. Other agents are attracting certain types of clients, so it is important for you to be clear on the clients you would like to attract. This goes beyond "buyer or seller demographic".

Why do I say this? Because that person you see over there? Their goals, their life, their dreams- I'm confident they are not the same as yours. Take a deep breath and stay in your own lane. The only competition that matters are the previous versions of yourself that you are improving upon!

Whether you are a buyer or seller, the home buying/selling process has the potential to be overwhelming, confusing and an emotional process. The best thing you can do is trust your Realtor and look at what is currently happening in the market.
As a buyer, it is easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of multiple offers, over-asking price offers, etc. For sellers, knowing there isn't a lot of properties out there, properties are going for premium prices- you may be seeing dollar signs. Follow your agent's lead, let him/her do the research and trust the information they give you!
