Hola mi gente. I missed you all so much I hope the transition from thanksgiving break to finals season is going well. This week I will be highlighting The Poverty Mentality and how I have personally seen it take a toll on my life as a first-generation Latina grad student. Furthermore, the whole concept of being an academic with a personality I feel really needs to be highlighted for all of us who work so hard to pave the way and may need reassurance and an amiga to tell them that they are doing a great job! ¡Hola mi gente! I hope you are doing well this week. As I am sure you read in the title, yes I will be speaking virtually at Harvard University for the 15th annual Harvard LEAD conference. I truly am grateful for all of you because without your support I don't know what I'd do. Please, I hope you can attend it would mean to world to have all there. Furthermore, I wanted to take the time to talk about honoring yourself and your healing journey it gets deep (as usual) but I hope what I share can resonate all of you. <3
