Recorded: June 21st 2023 | On this weeks episode the boys recap the summer event that we were all looking forward to, Beer Olympics. They reminisce on that day that was and all of the different things that had happened at the event. We recorded the intro 2 days after the Olympics and you can that Will and Taylor are still recovering a little bit. Following the intro the boy, Josh Allen, joins us on the bus again. The guys immediately get into Josh being the latest Madden cover athlete and what that whole process was like. Will asks him his thoughts on the Madden curse and if he thinks it will affect him this year. The boys then got into the Bills season last year and the ride that it was. Josh recaps the night of the Damar Hamlin incident and what that moment was like from a teammates perspective. He gets into how scary it all was and how the players were the ones who decided that they weren’t going to finish the game. Taylor then brings up some of the old matchups that the Titans and Bills have had. He talks about the COVID game in 2020 where the Titans didn’t practice all week but still were able to beat the Bills. The guys jump all over the place from Will asking Josh if white defensive players belong in the league, to telling old stories of getting sick from alcohol. Josh is really just one of the boys and just a super laid back dude. You will definitely enjoy this conversation. 0:00 Intro 2:57 Beer Olympics recap 13:18 The boys in the back give their take on Beer Olympics 28:29 Shoutout no free shoutout 33:42 Pet Peeve of the week 42:48 JOSH ALLEN INTERVIEW STARTS 43:19 Josh is on the cover of Madden 49:15 Josh’s doesn't really have much of a diet 50:30 Josh recaps the Bills season 51:35 What was it like during the Damar Hamlin moment? 59:35 His take on the Stefon Diggs drama 1:03:43 How has he developed and continue to develop throughout his career? 1:06:43 What is his process in the offseason? 1:09:41 Titans didn’t practice for a whole week and beat the Bills 1:21:03 Bill’s mafia is awesome 1:22:27 His favorite alcohols 1:26:22 Josh’s favorite place to golf and his offseason surrounds around golf 1:33:05 Some of the cons of being in the spotlight 1:35:45 Opportunities he has had to turn down 1:36:56 Anything he would like to do when the career is over 1:39:15 Blue cheese or ranch on wings? 1:42:21 Twisted Question 1:48:28 Why does he enjoy coming to TEU ----- SUPPORT OUR SPONSORS Chevy: Head to https://barstool.link/ChevyBarstool and check out Silverado and all the Chevy Trucks ZocDoc: Go to Zocdoc.com/bussin and download the Zocdoc app for FREE Twisted Tea: Grab a refreshing Twisted Tea today! Bussin' With The Boys - Bus Don't Lie (with Johnny Manziel & Mike)
play

06/02/21 • 102 min

Recorded: May 31, 2021 | The Boys don't always drop crossover pods, but when they do, they drop BANGERS. Today's guests: the boys from Ball Don't Lie aka Johnny Manziel and Mike (formerly known as Mike Stud). The foursome kicks things off by diving into Johnny's football career, starting with his freshman year at Texas A&M when he was getting busted for fake ID's and suspended from all football activities. He walks The Boys through his college football journey: rejoining the roster, winning the starting job in just 11 days, having one of the wildest Heisman runs of all time, and more. Next, Johnny offers some insight into the reason he has no regrets about how he handled his transition into the NFL, what he thinks about his time in Cleveland, and how he has been able to reach a place of peace when thinking about how his football career came to a close. Then, truly being for the boys, Johnny and Mike both express their love for Nashville and talk about their favorite spots downtown. Taking a quick break from football talk, Mike opens up about why he moves around the country so much, why he wanted to start Ball Don't Lie with Johnny, and what their next moves will be. Finally, Johnny drops a bomb about a little side hustle he had while playing college ball (*the NCAA has entered the chat*)... This one is definitely one of our favorite episodes. Recorded: June 14th 2023 | On this week's episode we have the Black Friday winner, Patrick Ryan and we introduce our brand new Executive Producer, Stephen Bond. Patrick has some things for the boys as well as how he got into the podcast itself. Following the intro, the boys sit down with the one and only Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie. Jelly Roll recaps his Joe Rogan Experience and talks about the impact it had on his streaming numbers. Then things get deep and tears are shed when Jelly talks about the sacrifices Bunnie made for him and his daughter so that he could have custody over her. Bunnie also give the us (the members of the small d*ck squad) a sliver of hope when she’s talking about some of her Vegas experiences growing up. Next things get a little gross at times when they all get into the pet peeves they each have for each other. So Jelly Roll and Bunnie share their pet peeves for each other, and Will and Taylor share what annoys them about each other. Bunnie shares some CRAZY stories of her time in Las Vegas and some of the people she has run into. Jelly shares what his last 7 weeks have been like and the amazing run that he has been on. This pod is all over the place with some really cool stories. There are also some stories that may have some too much information but are hilarious. You aren't going to want to miss them. Recorded: May 13th 2024 | In this weeks intro, the boys have to address the latest on the Beer Games. There has been a lot of news and new updates surrounding everything Beer Games related, the guys felt the need to touch on some of those whispers. Following the intro the buys are joined by NFL Wide Receiver, Randall Cobb. The boys have been trying to get Randall on the podcast for a while now and were finally able to make it happen. The guys dive right into it and start talking about Randall’s career and all of the different places he has been able to play. Randall talks about how he felt when Green Bay didn’t want to resign him, playing for Houston and how bad it was, getting traded back to Green Bay and finally last season playing for the Jets. Being that Randall and Aaron Rodgers are super close, he is able to give us the inside scoop on why Aaron decided to leave Green Bay, how Aaron plays the game at such a high level and whether or not he could have made it back last season if the Jets made the playoffs. Randall touches on at the end of the podcast how the conversation really does feel like a locker room vibe and hopefully you guys can feel that as you’re listening. Happy Tuesday and enjoy. Recorded: September 4th 2023 | On this week's episode we finally have the boy Taylor back and he is back bringing the energy. The boys start off the pod by breaking down Will’s retirement announcement and how he feels about being officially done. Taylor has some questions for him as to why now along with others. This past weekend was obviously the first weekend of college football so clearly, the boys are breaking out their hot takes and opinions on who sucks and who is winning the Natty. Taylor gets into Michigan’s game and Will gets into Nebraska’s heartbreaking loss but is still able to somehow spinzone the loss into a positive. It’s amazing how he’s able to do that with every loss. They also both get into Colorado;s surprising win and give a prediction on Deion and the Buffaloes season. Following college football talk, the guys get right into the NFL with it starting this week. They break down each division and give their winners. Somehow they are able to talk themselves in and out of the picks that they made on the spot. It is a convo that is all over the place. However, football is SOOOO back so who really cares. Enjoy fellas. 3:04 The Barstool layoffs and Dave’s pizza review 7:45 Will has retired 24:57 Fall tour schedule 26:00 Taylor recaps Canada 49:15 College football is all the way back 59:01 Taylor goes through Nebraska schedule 1:00:43 Taylor recaps Michigan game 1:01:47 Jack and Taylor get into it 1:10:07 Colorado prediction and Colorado/Nebraska prediction 1:19:50 South Carolina had a rough game 1:23:52 NFL Division predictions 2:12:26 NCAA will no longer exist 2:14:28 Tier Talk - Most exciting college football teams after week 1 2:24:20 Dude Wipes shittiest moment of the week 2:28:11 P+ Shoutout no free shoutout 2:36:51 Twisted question

The Playoffs ROLL ON and two of our analysts delivered incredible results. Last week, The Mule (Delanie Walker) and Chet Savage (Taylor Lewan) finished with a phenomenal record of 10 wins and only two losses. And to celebrate their success, each analyst enjoyed a refreshing Twisted Tea. Meanwhile, William Gekko (Will Compton) finished with a respectable 7-4 record in Super Wild Card Weekend. Here is where we sit after 19 weeks of football: Chet: 136-125-1 (51.9%) Gekko: 135-107-1 (55.6%) Mule: 149-105 (58.7%) This Week’s card puts the number one seeds back in play: Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens host rookie sensation C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans. Will the Texans have enough firepower to upset the Ravens? The Boys, Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, and the San Francisco 49ers will play host to Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. The 49ers have spent much of the season at the top of the league. Will the Packers be able to go toe-to-toe? In a matchup nobody expected, Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions won their first playoff game in decades and are now set to host a spicy Tampa Bay Buccaneers team led by Baker Mayfield And in what seems like an annual playoff event, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes will meet again. This time the Buffalo Bills will play host to the Kansas City Chiefs. Be the board, see the board, stack units. Comment your best bets for this week’s games.

Recorded: November 6th 2023 | On this weeks episode the boys get into their weekends and the weekend that was in the football world. Starts off with Will coming to the conclusion that he no longer likes his dog, Waffle, the boys preview the trip to LSU this coming weekend and also recap their records from Slips and Picks. Following that they get into the NFL and College football headlines. The boys react to Josh Dobbs leading the Vikings to a win after only being on the team for 5 days. Taylor and Will both retract their statement from before where they said Dobbs wouldn't be anything crazy. They also get into the Raiders coming up with a huge win against the Giants ad they seem to really be rallying behind the interim coach Antonio Pierce. Taylor then has a tough time accepting the fact that CJ Stroud is in fact him. Not because Taylor doesn't like him, but the fact that he went to Ohio State and that we plays for the Texans. Following the boys chopping it up, they have stud defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders, and one of the boys who have been with us since the jump, Maxx Crosby join them. Maxx gets into why he feels like he deserves to be in the running for defensive player of the year with the likes of Myles Garrett and TJ Watt. He also gets into what it has been like with the transition of coaches from Josh McDaniels to Antonio Pierce. Maxx also sets the record straight after a report came out about a team meeting and things that were said in that meeting. Maxx is another one of the boys and after talking with him, you can't help but think the Raiders are all the way back.
