Which would you be most excited for? megakirbs Hello! I absolutely loved the Metal Virus saga and Cream's portrayal especially. I felt it demonstrated a side of Cream we hadn't seen before. Do you currently have any plans for Cream the Rabbit in the next IDW arc? She is my favorite character, thanks! Scurvy Piratehog ...The Metal Virus Saga ends the way it began....Was this intentional? If so, that’s kinda brilliant! Digamma was volume 1 of Cosmo originally going to be a full blown ongoing that got caught up in Archie transitioning to having it's non-Archie (the character) books into miniseries?...I guess you could extend this question to the Mighty Crusaders book from around the same time Jib I was curious, in the forces comic and the game, we never got to see how Shadow took down Infinite's squad as well as his reason.Were you ever planning to include that in the comic? Do you still think there should be a Sonic game, with Smith voicing Sonic, where he’s put into a situation where the metaphorical anvil gets dropped on how he’s characterized in the 2010s era, how he treats his friends, or how he tells his jokes, very poorly, or even the other characters and how they’ve acted since the 2010s such as Tails, or Shadow? Has SEGA ever told you what games were or were not canon? And for those that were non canon, did they say they could not be adapted at all due to being non canon? Scurvy Piratehog Since we never got to fully see it in World's unite...how would you imagine a proper crossover between modern Sonic and Sonic Boom to go? The Sonics interacting, Knuckles, Eggmen, ETC ETC ETC. IanWaffles How do you both feel about the hyper critical approach to media analysis we seem to find ourselves in nowadays? I often find I enjoy things more when I consider the time, circumstances, and people behind a project rather than treating everything in a vacuum. Do you think it creates healthy discourse for everything to be treated to such a strict and harsh standard of quality? Digamma-F-Wau Chronologically, when does Outlaw take place in relation to the main Drogune series? Given that the shonen jump contest chapter took place at Ruby Point and then the chapter of the main book that came out after Outlaw when the hiatus ended also took place at Ruby Point, it would be funny if what we have of Outlaw and that chapter of the main series was taking place at the same time unbeknownst to both parties, but obviously if that's not the case then that's not the case. Johnny_B_Goode Could you shed some light on the relationship between Rob O' the Hedge and the Albion echidnas? Rob appeared to be in a weird trance when he led Knuckles and the lost echidnas to the hidden city he never saw before, and then they were in some sort of alliance with the Albionites until their civilization was blown up by Eggman? What was up with that? Diane W. What are the possibilities of exploring Blaze having Iblis sealed inside of her before she Chaos Controlled herself into another dimension at the end of Silver’s campaign in Sonic ‘06, as well as the fact that Blaze was originally from Sonic’s world 200 years into the future and childhood friends with Silver before she was the princess of the Sol Dimension and keeper of the Sol Emeralds? Papadripopolous Thoughts from either of you on Daft Punk in general, now they've split up? Obviously this whole excercise is for fun, not to be taken the most seriously, but I do find it a neat thought experiment. Diane W. Since you’re never going to release Lost Hedgehog Tales due to outside forces and instead being using for ideas for the IDW book, I may as well ask[...] Scruffymatt Alright fellas, since you agreed on my last "who would win" question so easily, let's try another: Bane vs Mr. Freeze. Who wins? AWF What process do you use for thinking ahead when it comes to writing, when youret taking turns writing with someone else? With you and Evan both working on your own arcs for the main comic now, do y'all have to pass ideas back and forth, to make sure neither of you "accidentally" plot-block the other by writing a situation that would interfere with something the other planned on writing? Over at Sonic Legacy (haha plug), we have several writers working on multiple issues at any given time, so there's always the "issue" of making sure everyone's on the same page. Do you and Evan (and anyone else you've ever written with) ever had to just sit down and be like "ok, this is what I want to do, this is what you want to do, how do we make this work?" Ideria Do you Ian, as a comic writer (whether it be Sonic IDW, Sonic Archie or Drogune) get to take part when it comes to translating a comic from english to another language? Andrew D.
