Digamma Let's take a question I've asked you in the past and ƎϨЯƎVƎЯ it: Would there be any sonic characters (games, archie, idw, etc) that would be like "if they were in Drogune they'd be Orkune"? Obviously this whole excercise is for fun, not to be taken the most seriously, but I do find it a neat thought experiment. Diane W. Since you’re never going to release Lost Hedgehog Tales due to outside forces and instead being using for ideas for the IDW book, I may as well ask[...] Scruffymatt Alright fellas, since you agreed on my last "who would win" question so easily, let's try another: Bane vs Mr. Freeze. Who wins? AWF What process do you use for thinking ahead when it comes to writing, when youret taking turns writing with someone else? With you and Evan both working on your own arcs for the main comic now, do y'all have to pass ideas back and forth, to make sure neither of you "accidentally" plot-block the other by writing a situation that would interfere with something the other planned on writing? Over at Sonic Legacy (haha plug), we have several writers working on multiple issues at any given time, so there's always the "issue" of making sure everyone's on the same page. Do you and Evan (and anyone else you've ever written with) ever had to just sit down and be like "ok, this is what I want to do, this is what you want to do, how do we make this work?" Ideria Do you Ian, as a comic writer (whether it be Sonic IDW, Sonic Archie or Drogune) get to take part when it comes to translating a comic from english to another language? Andrew D. Which would you be most excited for? megakirbs Hello! I absolutely loved the Metal Virus saga and Cream's portrayal especially. I felt it demonstrated a side of Cream we hadn't seen before. Do you currently have any plans for Cream the Rabbit in the next IDW arc? She is my favorite character, thanks! Scurvy Piratehog ...The Metal Virus Saga ends the way it began....Was this intentional? If so, that’s kinda brilliant! Digamma was volume 1 of Cosmo originally going to be a full blown ongoing that got caught up in Archie transitioning to having it's non-Archie (the character) books into miniseries?...I guess you could extend this question to the Mighty Crusaders book from around the same time Jib I was curious, in the forces comic and the game, we never got to see how Shadow took down Infinite's squad as well as his reason.Were you ever planning to include that in the comic? Do you still think there should be a Sonic game, with Smith voicing Sonic, where he’s put into a situation where the metaphorical anvil gets dropped on how he’s characterized in the 2010s era, how he treats his friends, or how he tells his jokes, very poorly, or even the other characters and how they’ve acted since the 2010s such as Tails, or Shadow? Johnny_B_Goode Let's rewind back to the first episode of Sonic X. If you could put Sonic & co in any city in fiction at all as a result of chaos control gone wonky, which city would you pick? AWF Having worked on the Transformers x MLP crossover, I have to ask, who's your favorite Transformer? Scruffymatt Alright fellas, you've had your practice questions. But now before the movie comes out, I once again must ask you: who would win? Gimme those predictions! Diane W. Here’s a fun question to make up for my last one; would Shadow be unable to steal candy from a baby if he finds it too cute? Scurvy Piratehog So...We know that Sonic Can't lose. So that begs the question...who would win in a fight between Sonic....and Sonic? Note. There's no fake sonic here, they are both real Sonics! Drewmaru Since Sega doesn't want to acknowledge certain Classic elements in Modern Sonic, especially those that we will be seeing in the new IDW classic comic such as Mighty and Ray, can you give us a story reason why we don't see them? I'd hate to imagine they'd be dead or nonexistent, and not being the focus seems strange in some instances like the Metal Virus where it brought in so many characters. Are we to assume they were holding out somewhere, or perhaps they were victims of the virus? Noodalou So the Chaos Emeralds are the main Super-Saiyan making gems. There have been other mostly collectable powerful sets, such as the Sol Emeralds, Time Stones, World Rings, Anarchy Beryl, Power Rings, etc. What are your favorites in this B-list category? Any least favorites? John B. With Dr. Starline playing a significant roll in both Bad Guys and Chao Races and Badnik Bases did anything have to changed in Bad guys to keep in step with the main book? You have talked about collaborating with Evan before but now that her first big story is out I was wondering if you have more specific examples. Sony N. First of all love the show and comics. And I loved the metal virus arc. Simple question. Sonic as there a limit to how dark you went with it? I remember you saying you got away with a lot and the tone I feel was great. Did it feel darker then what you normal write for sonic books even Archie and if you can answer how far did you want to take it? Syn_Fritz As it seems SEGA is constantly changing things up a bit with their characters for the Sonic franchise, what is the word on our boy Knuckles? Is he the last of his kind, the last of his clan, or something else now? On top of that, is he still a treasure hunter? Digamma
