100. To be Exceptional, Be Unafraid of Being Different

This phrase ‘be different’ kept coming back to me over the past 2 weeks.

Perhaps it was F1 fever...

I’ve been noticing the recurring theme about how different people at the top of their game are.

How unafraid of being different they are.

Being different is tough. It’s scary. It can feel lonely. But it’s what’s needed to be exceptional.

People who are exceptional at what they do aren’t like everyone else. That’s why they’re exceptional. And being exceptional requires you to be different.
