buckleUp! Podcast with Natalia Earle

Today’s guest Michael R. Davidson was raised in the Mid-West. Heeding President Kennedy’s call for more young Americans to learn Russian he studied the language, and military service took him to the White House where he served as translator for the Moscow-Washington “Hotline.” His language abilities attracted the attention of the Central Intelligence Agency, and following his military service Mr. Davidson spent the next 28 years as a Clandestine Services officer. Seventeen of those years were spent abroad in a variety of sensitive posts working against the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. In the private sector he worked as a business owner and security and economic development consultant before devoting full time to his writing. Mr. Davidson is called upon frequently to comment on current events. Buckle Up!

You can find Mr. Davidson on www.michaelrdavidson.com

E22: ALL THINGS CIGARS WITH TERENCE REILLY

In this educational episode I set down with Terence Reilly VP of Sales and Marketing of Aganorsa Leaf to talk all things cigars.
Terence grew up in Massachusetts and studied Classical History with the idea of eventually becoming a college professor. But after his master's degree he decided not to pursue the PH.D needed for college instructor. He worked as a Sales Rep for Carnival Cruise Lines for a time before getting into the cigar business. Terence Reilly is about as gringo a name as there is, but his grandmother on his father’s side was Spanish and her maiden name was Quesada. Her family had interests in the tobacco business in Cuba as far back as the 1800’s. When Castro came to power in Cuba they fled and restarted the business in Dominican Republic where Terence worked in the factory in Santiago, D.R for a while to learn the business. He relocated to Miami in 2009 and worked for Quesada Cigars for almost a decade. In 2017, he left the company and went to work for a Nicaraguan based company called Aganorsa. Buckle up!

You can find Terence and Aganorsa cigars on IG & FB: Aganorsa Leaf
