Reading vs Listening
Bubbly Bibbly
02/11/23 • 33 min
In this episode, Carmen and Rachel talk about the differences Carmen has discovered in reading and listening to a book. Let us know what you think the differences are in audio versus physical book, and what makes you choose one over the other.
And remember, Author of “Parallel”, Shana Chartier, said: “Someone needs to buy a radio station, then play nothing but audio books, with a different genre of book played at set times. That way we can always have something new to read, no matter where we are.”

Books That Have Not Aged Well: Episode 72
Bubbly Bibbly
01/24/23 • 28 min
In this episode, Carmen and Rachel are going to talk about books that have not aged well. We are talking books that are not as well-received as it was when it was written. There may be some themes, characters, or plot elements that have become less acceptable over time. And that is the beauty of reading. You can really see how the world and its attitudes have changed over the years through what has been printed during specific timelines. Books that have been read widely throughout the years, but perhaps should be read alongside a more recent book that more accurately portrays reality. Read, think, discuss. Repeat. So let’s get started!
