I detta avsnitt tänkte vi att ni skulle få lära känna oss lite som är skaparna av denna podd. Ni får höra om våra karriärer som artister och låtskrivare men även hur våra resor började i musikbranschen. Ett avsnitt helt enkelt där ni som lyssnare får en tydligare bild av oss och vilka vi är och vad vi gör när vi inte poddar. Tobias Reinerstam

After getting back from the well-known and prestiges songwriter/producer school “Dreamhill Music Academy” in 2015, Tobias, or “Qilo”, has been working professionally mainly as a songwriter/producer for others, but also for himself as “Nuschi”.

Through the years, Qilo has worked with a lot of different types of artist projects but also been heavily involved in many of their artistry development, which has helped bring depth in understanding what the artists are looking for in the studio.

With a wide range, Qilo’s songs can vary from Pop/RnB/Dance and have released songs on labels such as Universal, Sony, Warner, Spinnin and STMPD, Island, Astralwerks to name a few.

With over 100 million streams on Spotify alone Tobias has worked with artists like Mike Williams, Gabry Ponte, Henri PFR, Maia Wright, Aazar, Yung Felix, Ebenezer, Shaun Frank, Young Bombs, Alicia Moffet, Orkid, Nano and have had holds for Kehlani, Jubël, Kream, Illenium, Cazzette, Tyron Hapi, LVNDSCAPE, Joakim Lundell. In 2019 he received his first Billboard radio placement hitting number 15 on dance/mix show airplay.

Matilda Melin

ORKID, aka Matilda Melin from Sweden’s far north, continues to soar and amaze, release after release. Personifying quintessential Swedish indie-electro-pop, it’s hard not to fall for Orkid’s brand of velvet, soulful, fragile yet commanding vocals, alongside her captivating and piercing beauty inside and out.

The 26 year old starlet now lives in Stockholm - a world hub for modern pop - but was schooled on classic legendary singer/songwriters like Nat King Cole and Sam Cooke. These contrasting influences can be heard in ORKID’s rare quality to possess both on trend and a maturity beyond her years artistry. At the raw age of 16, she cleverly used the ‘Idol’ stage and overcame the challenge of being heard from a small town, leaving audiences gob smacked with her world class potential. Desiring much more than ‘flash in the pan’ success, over the following two years ORKID completed her education, honed her song writing and live performance skills, and developed into one of Sweden’s most exciting artist exports to watch with over 100 million streams.
