As Spring Training 2024 starts to come to a close we are seemingly still dealing with injuries that like to creep up just before the season starts. Last week it was revealed that Oswald Peraza has a subcapularis strain keeping him out of game action for 6-8 weeks, Aaron Judge has strained abs and won't swing a bat until later in the week. Yankees fans everywhere are all bracing for the news that Gerrit Cole might have a serious injury to his pitching elbow and are awaiting details on that. Lastly the reports are surfacing that the Yankees have re-engaged with the Chicago White Sox about a trade for Dylan Cease and the package does not include Yankees #2 Prospect Spencer Jones but includes RHP Chase Hampton and OF Everson Periera.
