Shailyn, or Shai, first garnered the nickname ‘sugarshai’ in high school. As the years progressed, more and more members of the community began to know her as such, and so it stuck. It was only right the name be brought along this journey. A journalist by day, Shai enjoys spending her evening coming up with unique cake flavors, taste-testing every batch, and watching the facial expressions of those generous enough to try them out.
