play

11/12/24 • 26 min

From 11 - 15 November, we're shining a spotlight on our members with Dressage For All Week, seeking to raise awareness for the various different pathways available to those taking part in affiliated dressage activity, whilst aiming to understand more about each other's individual experiences and personal challenges.
This one's for the dressage ladies! Steph Bradley is a BDCC coach, rider, saddle fitter and student of Gloucestershire University where she's dedicated her time and energy into producing a pioneering piece of research on how the perimenopause and menopause impacts riders.
We talk through what the effects are, why Steph chose this subject as an area of interest, what the impact is on participation and how we can manage this. It's a fascinating discussion!
You can view Steph's research on the British Dressage website, and please do reach out and share your own experiences with our team, we're committed to sharing knowledge to make this topic one that's spoken about in tack rooms across the country.
