But in 1993, their 3rd album Buhloone Mindstate showed an increased sense of maturity along with their disdain at their own record label and the state of hip-hop. This album is often overlooked due to its more serious undertones, but at its core is easily one of the group's best LPs to date.

Eazy-E adds the much needed humor on this album making it one of the best albums from that year.
