For as long as I've been able to walk and talk, I have been raised in around the church. The old timers would say almost on a daily basis, 'This world is not my home, I'm just passing through." The Lord has not returned yet, however, I have begun to share their sentiments that it will be soon. We must not be procrastinators, we make the necessary preparations for our journey home, aka to heaven.

Without a physical object present, there would be no shadow. Throughout the history of time shadows had offered direction, shade and comfort for those trying to find their way, and the need of these still exists. Now is our time to point someone to the cross of Calvary so they might find their way.

We often start something and never finish it because we go into it with doubt and skepticism. If we do everything as unto the Lord and surrender our lives to Him, he gives us the peace, joy, endurance and sustainability we need. Ironically, even in the midst of change or turmoil.
