Bethany McLean is a journalist and contributing editor for Vanity Fair magazine. She is best known for uncovering dishonest behavior in big companies, and more the specifically, the founders of these large companies. She first made waves with her writing on the Enron scandal as well the 2008 financial crisis, then she helped uncover the incredibly unstable business model behind Fracking, despite billions of dollars being dumped on the project without a clear path to ever becoming a viable business.
