Michael Clayton is in my opinion (and many others) one of the key speakers in golf for his knowledge and sage advice regarding the direction golf has taken and it’s future. His beliefs are almost too logical to listen to and his answers to how golf can begin to build again has so much common sense involved it’s hard to imagine the game’s governing bodies don’t sit up and take notice. This is Part 1 of my two part interview with Mike Clayton

Bradley Hughes Golf- Brendon Todd

Bradley Hughes Golf Podcast

Brendon Todd was at the height of his game in 2014. He won The Byron Nelson Classic, had a host of other top 10 finishes and narrowly missed out on making the Ryder Cup team that very same season. Then his game left him and he missed a string of cuts over the following 3 seasons and lost his PGA playing status. I started working with BT in August 2018 and wanted to share some insight into what happened- how we have worked at getting his game and his confidence back on track and how you can learn about perseverance, dedication and a plan when things go pear shaped with your own game. There’s some great insight in his story here. Sit back & listen and more importantly- learn from the best- something I always try to highlight with the guests I bring onto my podcasts at Bradley Hughes Golf

It was wonderful to speak to someone with his knowledge and experience and I hope his insights will enable you to improve your way of thinking as you search to improve your own game.

Golf is not just about the golf swing. The mental side of practice and playing is a huge component to a better game. In this episode I talk with Jenny Sevil, former #1 ranked Ladies Professional Golfer in Australia and how her instruction has become teaching her students how to successfully take to the task of mentally prepping themselves for every session and every shot- feeding the right information into the mind to make the swing and the scores better. It’s a great listen that will help benefit every golfer in their quest for improvement.

Doug Sanders was one of the all-time great golfers. A true character on and off the fairways. Listen in as I ask Doug about his early days, the colorful attire, the celebrities and Presidents he forged friendships with. Palmer, Hogan, Nicklaus and Player. The 20 wins on the PGA Tour and of course the one that got away- the 1970 British Open Championship. If you love golf and grew up in the golden era of watching golf in the 60’s and 70’s then don’t miss this latest episode.

In my very first step into the podcast world I talk with my friend Ian Baker Finch. This is a great listen as “Finchy” walks us through the highs and lows of his professional golf career, the early days, the triumphs and the turmoil. He gives insight into his role as a commentator rather than a golfer and brings up great thoughts in the rapid fire answers particularly what he would change in golf if he was “commissioner” for just one day
