Why did you start this show?
Dillon was browsing the "List of films based on video games" Wikipedia page (he has clinical depression) and noticed that there were only, like, 50 of them. He shared this with Trevor, who thought that would make for a great podcast (he also has clinical depression).
What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?
Chuckles and a parasocial delusion that they watched a bad movie with us.

What is your favourite other podcast that isn't yours?
Red Cow Arcade is a great general nerd media podcast, always brings the laughs and some good, nuanced discussions.
How did you come up with the name for your podcast?
We actually initially launched the show as "Video Game: The Movie: The Podcast" and then quickly realized there were several shows that already had that name. Dillon and Trevor then volleyed a few video game + movie pun-based title ideas back and forth and Box Office Bob-ombs was the cream of that crop!

Dillon is a stay-at-home dad from the Pacific Northwest, and Trevor is a copywriter from Southern California.
