Adnan Syed was a high school student in Baltimore, Maryland in 1999. He was convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend Hae min Lee without any hard evidence or a strong case against him. He has insisted that he is innocent since his arrest twenty-two years ago. Adnan probably could have won his case if it had been handled differently. This podcast will briefly explain what went down during the investigation and the trial that led to (but probably shouldn't have) the conviction of Adnan Syed on February 25, 2000.
