Dr. Miletic earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario Medical School and completed his residency in Psychiatry at the Detroit Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry, Neurology and Metabolic Medicine. He is also certified in Psychoanalysis and serves as an Advanced Fellow in Metabolic Medicine. While completing his medical degrees, Dr. Miletic was Canadian Olympic weightlifting champion (1982), Pan-American games Silver Medalist (1983) and a member of the Canadian Olympic weightlifting team (1984).
