I really wish you would be a blessing and just listen to the show. But if you must know what it is about then here we go!

I have been debating on how to add value to the Podcast and have decided that in between episodes, I will start adding bonus content! As the Holy Spirit moves me and gives me ideas, I will make a random post to help you grow in your relationship with Christ (feel free to share any ideas for the show). As a result, we will kick off the bonus content with a segment called “Why do you believe in Jesus?”. Every time I interview someone, I will ask them two questions:

1. Why do you believe in God/Jesus?

2. Why is it important to share your testimony?

1 Peter 3:15 reminds us always to be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope in you. In other words, why do you have faith in Christ? Therefore, I believe it will be a blessing if we had a repository of reasons to believe in Christ and share your testimony. This segment we hear from Sherri Simmons, a phenomenal educator, philanthropist, wife, and Sister in Christ on why she believes in God! I pray that you enjoy and find value in it. Episode 4 - With The Lord, What Can Man Do To Me? (Psalms 118:6)

In this episode, we are in Psalms chapter 18, verse 6, and discussing how we don\'t have to worry or fear man (humans) when we have the Lord on our side. People will try and put you down, defeat you, place fear on you, tell you what you can or cannot do, but it is all a lie from the enemy! If we get aligned with God and stay in His will, then there is nothing or no one that can stop us.

We will provide you with an explanation of Psalms 118:6 and then a remarkable testimony from Sherrie Simmons (a phenomenal educator, philanthropist, wife, and Sister in Christ) on how she overcame the struggles her ex-husband took her through, how she turned it around for the glory of the Lord, and how Psalms 118:6 is relevant in all of our lives today.

Information on Sherri:

Sherri Simmons is a wife and a mother to her beagle K.B. She is the oldest of four children (two sisters and one brother) and the aunt to three nephews. She has been an educator in the Chicago Public Schools for 14 years, where she has taught 3rd, 1st, Intermediate Math, served as an Assistant Principal, and is currently working as an S.T.E.M. Integration Specialist. She is also the Founder and President of Young Ladies At All Times, N.F.P. (Y.L.A.A.T.), a mentoring program for young girls and a member of Young Women\'s Professional League (Y.W.P.L.). She began writing Underneath the Hat in 2013 after her separation from her first husband. The book served as therapy for her to get through the ordeal. She hopes that others will be helped as they learn through her journey of rediscovering who she is by revealing what\'s Underneath the Hat.

In this episode we are in Matthew chapter 7, verse 21 and discussing how many people say that they have accepted Jesus and are save, but their fruit may tell a different story. It is a scary thought to think that we are believing we are saved and following Jesus but the Bible say Jesus responds with “I never knew you”.
