Every time I interview someone, I will ask them two questions:

1. Why do you believe in God/Jesus?

2. Why is it important to share your testimony?

1 Peter 3:15 reminds us to always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who ask you for a reason for the hope in you. In other words, why do you have faith in Christ? Therefore, I believe it will be a blessing if we had a repository of reasons to believe in Christ and share your testimony. This segment we hear from Shanine Young (A Christian teacher that gives beneficial tips and advice on how to live your best life), on why she believes in God! I pray you enjoy and find value in it. One of the biggest obstacles to people forming a relationship with Christ is people who claim to be Christians but necessary living by Christ teachings. In this episode we are in Hebrews chapter 12 verses 1-2 and we are instructed to strip off the sin that weigh us down especially since we are surrounded by a crowd of witnesses. We live in a world where people love their sin and don’t want to give it up, it does not help if the people who represent Christ are living similar lives. Our sins cause us to stumble and if we stay in them too long they have a way of killing our purpose, our relationship with Christ and ultimately our lives.

My Guest, Shanine shares her Blessedtimony on Hebrews 12:1-2 and how she decided to trust God and go through the process of sanctification. She describes how we need to continue to strive to be more like Christ and do what is right according to His word.

\'And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. The Great Commission! Jesus instructed us to go into the world and teach and baptize. This is the core of discipleship, which is all about teaching others about Christ so they can go and do the same! This is how the world will have the opportunity to hear the good news and be saved from the righteous judgment we all deserve. Thankfully with technology we are able to reach corners of the world most of us will never travel.

However, my Guest, Cathrine Ligard takes the great commission to another level. Cathrine and her husband Vidar has a ministry called Safari Mission where they train leaders in Africa so they can in turn go and do the same for their people. Cathrine shares her Blessedtimony on the Great Commission and how it has blessed her and many others in East Africa.
