Is there a pathway for North Dakota State to move up to FBS?

That question is relevant again after USC and UCLA made the move to the Big Ten.

There are likely more moves to come as the Big 12, PAC 12 and ACC need to decide how they beef up their leagues to compete with the SEC and the Big Ten.

The Forum's Mike McFeely and WDAY Sports Director Dom Izzo break down the angles of a potential North Dakota State move and what it would entail for the Bison to make the move up.

NDSU's 38-10 victory against Montana State at Toyota Stadium for the NCAA Division I FCS championship before 18,942 fans. The Bison (14-1) won their ninth title in the past 11 seasons. NDSU has a 130-7 overall record in the those nine championship seasons. The Bison hold the record for most FCS championships ahead of Georgia Southern, which is in second place with six.

Week 14 of "Monday Morning QB with Steve Walker" after NDSU's 20-14 home victory against James Madison at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome in the NCAA Division I FCS semifinals. The Bison improved to 13-1 overall and next play Montana State on Jan. 8 in Frisco, Texas, for the FCS championship. NDSU is playing in its ninth title game since 2011.

Former North Dakota State quarterback Steve Walker helped jumpstart the football program's transition to NCAA Division I with a standout four-year career from 2004-2007.

Week 11: NDSU's 52-24 home victory against South Dakota at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome. The Bison ended the regular season 10-1 overall and 7-1 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, winning the conference title outright. NDSU earned the No. 2 seed for the FCS playoffs and has a first-round bye.

Week 12 of "Monday Morning QB with Steve Walker" after NDSU's 38-7 home victory against Southern Illinois at Gate City Bank Field at the Fargodome in the second round of the FCS playoffs. The Bison improved to 11-1 overall and next play East Tennessee State at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, in the FCS quarterfinals.
