July 26, 2021 - Texas and Oklahoma reveal plans to leave for the SEC in 2025 when their contracts expire, OR SOONER.
September 10, 2021 - Big 12 announces four new members. BYU, UCF, University of Cincinnati, and the University of Houston.
Texas and Oklahoma are rumored to depart as early as 2023, but could stay until 2025
All four additions reportedly negotiated a buyout and are expected to officially join the big 12 July 1, 2023.
