Preamble
Many ordained church ministers are unsure if they are leaders. They sense that their calling is to be a Pastor or an Evangelist but are not sure how such roles tie up with being a leader. However, in a rapidly changing world, leadership is vital in helping the church move ahead. The Church needs godly servant leaders; godly servant leaders need the Church.
Questions
What characteristics from the Bible mark out Christian Leadership?
Christian leadership has markers (highlighters), which include relationship with God as Trinity (1), faithfulness to the Word of God (the Bible) (2), striving to serve others (3), focus on the cross and the resurrection power of Jesus Christ (4), dependence on God through prayers (5), and positive impact in a place of assignment. To lead like Jesus, we must allow His Grace to mark us out for all to see.
