Is Generational Wealth for Black People?: A Call for A Changed Mindset with Pastor Frederick Guions
12/14/20 • 48 min
#031: Why are we not producers as the African American community? We’re called to be consumers of our products and not just consumers. We need to change our mindset and align with the biggest ideas that God has for our lives by going beyond our comfort.
In this episode of Beyond the Culture with Dr. David M. Walker, I have Pastor Frederick Guions, the chairman at the Guions Group LLC. He works as a certified John Maxwell speaker, trainer, and coach at the John Maxwell Team. He’s a former pro football player, he had a successful career as a financial advisor working on Wall Street, and has appeared on radio, seminars, and hosted conferences. He’s also a senior pastor at the Blessed Church in Philadelphia and the author of a soon to be released book entitled, The Goal Standard.
Pastor Frederick discusses the importance of generational wealth building for African Americans by expanding our minds from the comfortable environments we’re used to having. This new mindset believes that wealth is for our people. Listen in to learn the importance of trusting God with your next work when His time is right.
