Dr. Megginson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselor Education at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, MA, where she teaches a class on Sexuality and Gender in Counseling among many others. Dr. Megginson is also a Private Practice Clinician & Owner at SolQuest Therapy, in North Attleboro, MA.

Kent and Dr. Megginson discuss the fantasy of the gender binary, trans kids in schools, counseling trans kids and their families, trans youth sports, how her role as a counselor and mother of a trans child gives her an inside view of the issues facing trans kids and their families, transitioning and gender-affirming care, and finally, about the push for anti-trans legislation across the country.
