The Old Testament book of Jonah feels like one of the strangest stories in the Bible, but what if this ancient story has everything to do with your life? Even if you never get eaten alive by a big fish, in this four-week teaching series, we’re going to explore the masterful four-chapter story of Jonah and what it teaches us about our own hearts, the heart of the city, and—most importantly—the heart of God.

The Art of Prayer: with Special Guest Bud Simon

Prayer is an art. Anyone can pray, of course, just like any kid with a marker can make art. Like any art form, though, it’s a skill that anyone can get better at by learning from the masters of the past and practicing it in your everyday life. In this ten-week teaching series, as we continue to learn what it looks like to “devote ourselves to prayer” in 2024, we’re going to explore what the Bible says about the art of prayer and make room to practice it.
In February 2023, a routine chapel service at Asbury University in Lexington, KY turned into sixteen days of continuous prayer and worship—in what the New York Times called “the nation’s first major spiritual revival of the 21st Century.” Bud Simon was asked to lead multiple prayer ministry trainings a day to equip people to pray over the thousands of people who were showing up from all over the world.
