Its been a minute, but we are back and reading the books "Lillian's Right to Vote" by Jonah Winter and "Seeds of Freedom: The Peaceful Integration of Huntsville Alabama" by Hester Bass. Both of these stories deal with the rights gained by African Americans in Alabama. As always, these and other books like it are available at your local library or bookstore.
