Shawn grew up with a mother who was an opera singer and a father (George) who was a former Mr. America, Mr. Universe and is in the Body Building HOF Twice! We hear what it was like growing up in the Eiferman household. Shawn began playing guitar at age 9- You must hear what he did to learn the guitar.
He sold Pepe Jeans in front of Wembley Stadium while in London with his mother. Hear how this help with his music career and the perks that came along with this job. Shawn won UNLV Entertainer of the Year two times in a row. He reflects on those days and how Tommy Rocker was a big influence on him. (Listen for the story on the movie- Friday the 13th). He won a battle of the bands competition by himself and where the bands mad, he won?
The story behind the song “Gone” that won him 1st place in the USA Songwriting Contest, the number of songs he has written, and the band called Epstein’s Mother. How this band was a crossroads in his life which leads to a great story of Shawn playing basketball with some members of the Harlem Globetrotters.

The two official biographers of Bob Crane and authors of the book: “Bob Crane: the Definitive Biography” join the show to talk about Bob.
We begin the show learning about Bob’s personality, who had careers in radio & entertainment. His start into radio was not easy as he sent many letters to stations but finally got a job at WLEA in Hornell, NY doing__________! His radio career evolved to having his own setup in LA where he became a celebrity interview on a wild, fun, unrehearsed show as some have said he is the first shock jock.
He starred in Hogan’s Heroes but how did he land this role and what did he think about it?
His death remains unsolved as he was murdered while sleeping. Bob was one that documented every aspect of his life from going to the dentist to consensual sex with many women who consented to being on camera in amateur pornography. Who was the suspect? Who could have wanted him dead? How brutal was the murder? Plus, so much more!

Using her voice to tell the truth with grace that is reflected in her songwriting, what she has moved on from, like college, and what is ahead! The process to audition for S17 of The Voice, who she was prior to the show, along with the difficulty of choosing a coach after getting all four chairs to turn around. Her growth after The Voice to American Idol.
Her audition song, which was sensational, the meaning of the track, “Something in the Orange” and which show was harder for her. Marybeth talks about what life has been since American Idol and she gives voice lessons (see show notes)!

A music legend that is a drummer and a member of The Kingsmen since 1963. The group best known for the hit, Louie Louie.
We begin the show learning about when Dick started playing for the drums and how he was in the right place at the right time to join the group, The Kingsmen in 1963. He gives the background of how the group started touring and Louie Louie being banned!
He tells us what the music scene was like in Portland, OR in the sixties that had groups such as The Wailers, Paul Revere & Raiders, and others. Richard Barry wrote Louie Louie, recorded it and wrote the song and sold all his rights for $750! Dick gives story how he changed the music industry where record companies must pay their royalties in four year or lose it.
The number of times he has played the hit song which was named the worst record at one time. Are the FBI the reason the song stayed alive? What is the longest time the song has been played consecutively? Dick explains going from high school to buying a Ferrari due to this pandemonium. What are the lyrics!?
How it became the official state song in Washington and played at all Seattle Mariners home games during the 7th inning stretch.
Book- “Louie Louie, Me Gotta Go Now” (see show notes). The other songs The Kingsmen have recorded charted in Billboard. He tells us about Mike Mitchell whose guitar break you hear at beginning of the song.
Wolfman Jack, his legacy, and songwriting wraps this fantastic episode up.
