Dr Straukiene regularly consults pharmaceutical, NHS and technology development companies. Dr Straukiene and her team won the international MS Brain Health award in 2022.

Dr. Scalfari is a consultant neurologist at the tertiary centre for the management of MS and neuro-inflammatory diseases and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Imperial College London. He has authored several scientific articles and participates often as a speaker at international conferences and webinars.Our conversation revolves around the fascinating topic of aging and the impact it has on our brain health, particularly for those living with MS. We delve into the mechanisms of aging and what we can do to slow and even reverse the aging process. Dr. Scalfari shares actionable protocols and tips that you can incorporate into your daily life, giving you the knowledge and tools to offset the biological effects of aging.We explore topics such as the Mediterranean diet, the existence of the longevity gene, and whether aging is a disease that we can bio-hack. We also discuss the impact of aging on muscle mass, grip strength, and uric acid antioxidant levels, as well as the age of peak MS disease development.Dr. Scalfari provides insight into the process of natural MS progression and introduces the concept of smouldering MS.
