This week's episode is quite thought-provoking. We're going to discuss Decolonizing Beauty. Is beauty truly in the eyes of the colonizer? You know what my answer to that question is! We also briefly mention how California became the first state to ban discrimination based on one's natural hair. We are in the 21st century, and many countries and states still uphold and maintain white supremacist ideals and beliefs. We need to continually educate, spread awareness and call out such outrageous behaviors to bring about change.

As there were so many articles discussing the decolonization of beauty and body ideals, I decided to ease into it and will be revisiting this topic in future episodes.
