It all starts up front with the growth of the defensive line. This episode gets into how important a healthy Eddie Goldman is to the success of the front seven and how Jaye Howard could quiely be a huge signing coming in late May.. Then the focus is shifted to the outside linebackers, one of the deepest group of edge rushers in the NFL. In order for the Bears' defense to truly be great again, the four men at the top of the depth chart have to remain on the field for a full season, something they haven't yet been able to do together. BHL finished with an overview of the new-look secondary, expressing confidence in the safety position with cautious optimism for the changes at cornerback that carry many of the same injury concerns seen elsewhere on the roster.
