The Chicago Bears have undoubtedly invested a lot of resources into revamping the offense this current season. The Bears invested a 3rd round pick in David Montgomery and Millions into Cordarrelle Patterson and Mike Davis. The Bear's progression on offense from 2019-2019 will also be largely dependent on the growth of Mitchell Trubisky and his understanding of Head Coach Matt Nagy's Scheme. Both Austin and Reese are optimistic on the Bears offense this season and hope to see the much-needed development out of it on Thursday Night Football (Week 1) at Soldier field against the Packers.

The Chicago Bears added a lot of firepower to the former #1 Defense in 2018 with the goal to establish one of the most continuously dominant defenses of the 21st century. This offseason alone Ryan Pace added Robert Quinn, Jaylon Johnson, Trashaun Gipson, Travis Gipson, and Kindle Vildor creating one of the most stacked and depth filled defenses in the NFL. Austin and Reece breakdown every defensive position on the Chicago Bears Roster. The NFL has also made the assumption that no games in the 2020 season will be played with fans. This is an unprecedented time in the NFL leaving many to question the effect that this might have on the bears. Austin and Reece analyze the effects that this may have on the Chicago Bears and the rest of the NFL.

Bear Necessities: Chicago Bears Podcast - Ep 10: Should the Chicago Bears Draft a Quarterback in the 2020 NFL Draft?
play

04/13/20 • 28 min

The Chicago Bears have had a multitude of Quarterback issues throughout their history and Current Bears Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky hasn't resolved that issue. With two second-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears may have an opportunity to trade up and draft one of the premier QBs available. Although this may seem like a logical decision, Bears GM Ryan Pace must weigh the benefits as drafting another QB may leave other spots on the roster compromised and therefore preventing a Superbowl run. Austin and Reece Weigh the many costs and benefits that come with drafting a Quarterback and give their takes on how the Bears should handle the situation.

Bear Necessities: Chicago Bears Podcast - Ep 9: Review of an Era- John Fox and Ryan Pace's Chicago Bears Tenure
play

04/08/20 • 53 min

The Chicago Bears have had plenty of head coaches and general managers in the past 10 years. John Fox's tenure with the Bears has to be one of the most disappointing. With the only major contributions being current Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky, Eddie Jackson, and Tarik Cohen John Fox couldn't have a worse tenure with the Chicago Bears.
