The Chicago Bears Organization, Ryan Pace, and Matt Nagy are all betting a lot on Nick Foles and as fans, we have hope and confidence in his ability to take this team to the next level, but what if he can't? What do we do? Unless Mitchell Trubisky takes a major jump, the Bears will be looking to add a Quarterback in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Chicago Bears have a long history of horrible coaches, front offices, and quarterbacks; however, the Mark Trestman/ Phil Emery era may be rock bottom. The Bears were a laughing stock of the NFL and had multiple failed first-round picks in the early rounds of the NFL draft. This week on the Bear Necessities Podcast, Austin and Reece Analyze what led to this horrible downfall and the decisions made that ultimately led to current Chicago Bears GM Ryan Pace putting the roster through a 5-year rebuild.

The Chicago Bears have had a multitude of Quarterback issues throughout their history and Current Bears Quarterback Mitchell Trubisky hasn't resolved that issue. With two second-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears may have an opportunity to trade up and draft one of the premier QBs available. Although this may seem like a logical decision, Bears GM Ryan Pace must weigh the benefits as drafting another QB may leave other spots on the roster compromised and therefore preventing a Superbowl run. Austin and Reece Weigh the many costs and benefits that come with drafting a Quarterback and give their takes on how the Bears should handle the situation.

The Chicago Bears have had plenty of head coaches and general managers in the past 10 years. John Fox's tenure with the Bears has to be one of the most disappointing. With the only major contributions being current Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky, Eddie Jackson, and Tarik Cohen John Fox couldn't have a worse tenure with the Chicago Bears.
