We are back on the mic's Sunday and want to wish all the moms out there a very happy Mother's Day, especially our own mom's and our wives, who are the rocks of our family's!

We start the episode by talking about our #RunChrisRun event that spiraled well out of control into something that was a lot of fun. We then transition to the news about DK Metcalf (13:29) running a blazing fast 100 meter dash against Olympic level sprinters. At 6'4" and 230 lbs, it's easy to tell which lane DK is running out of and he held his own for most of the race.

The guys talk about a few things from around the NFL (27:40) that happened this week. A slow week in NFL news but topics were, Frank Ragnow's record setting center extension, Eagles claiming Kerryon Johnson and Brandon Beane's recent comments that sparked debate about whether guys should be cut due to their vaccination status. **Disclaimer, we reveal why we did not touch on the Aaron Rodgers news- this is coming with a guest next week**

Talks then shift to a couple of jersey nerds talking rookie jersey numbers (48:25). Does your team have their rookie numbers decided yet? Is there a rookie jersey you want to buy? Let us know on our social media pages!

Your NFL Post Draft Show

The Ballhawks Podcast is now on the clock!!! The 2021 NFL Draft has concluded and that means it's time to hit the record button. We intro the show by talking about Rich Eisen's 40 yard dash time and how it relates to a little bet of our own for #RunChrisRun Find out how this turned into a competition vs. the boys at The PP1 Podcast- especially Ryan Hank. Draft talks kick off the show (8:01) with Chris recapping the Seahawks 3 picks over the weekend. Steve discusses the Ravens 8 picks this round, including the TWO first round selections. Find out what the guys think of their team's weekend drafting. The guys then head over to discuss the 1st Round (55:01) of the NFL Draft. What picks we liked, which ones we disliked, and which ones they felt were the best value. Next, topic turned to "winners and losers" of the draft. Find out if your team or favorite player was discussed and if they were a winner or loser in this year's draft. Some really interesting conversations about why someone or some team may be labelled a winner or loser of a draft. This week’s installment of the Third Down (72:21) featured a fun spin on a previous topic. You’ll have to tune in, to see if your favorite host, Steve, notched his first win on the Third Down. Spoiler alert, he didn’t go up against anyone, so ya boi got his first W!!!!!! Improving his season record to 1-3.
