Cleo deCap is just another dirt farmer on Daius. And so is Bortis, and Fron- and everybody else they know. Thing is, Cleo has bigger dreams than just farming dirt. The Bringening is coming up, and the whole dang town and then some will be turning up to see it. This is the year that she's going to score a take bigger than Margot Blue Eyes McCracken- or anybody! Cause there's a shiny new factory down the way- and Margot thinks it's full of Ursine slavers.. But Cleo knows it's full of TAKES.
