The idea behind this series stems from the huge collection of old, mysterious chip files that I’ve amassed over time. Some of them came bundled with games or software; some of them were sent to me; and some of them simply mysteriously appeared over time.

A lot of them are over a decade old. I think it’s important to preserve some of this music, as I’m sure a lot of it could easily disappear into the ether without a bit of love and care. I’ve tried to keep as much of the info as I can true to the original artists’ work, especially their comments and writing style.

Enjoy the music! And for those tracks where some information still exists, feel free to wonder who those authors were back then, and what they are doing now.
