Hello! Welcome to the new Awesome Friday Games Podcast!

This is a new weekly dive into a new game and a classic title from the archives, and pairs beautifully with our movie podcast like Laphroaig and parmesan. As someone who has very little time to play anything these days, I’m always interested in what catches my attention, so I’m looking forward to sharing that with you.

I also have recently found a place for my large collection of classic games spread over multiple consoles, so I’ll choose one each week to talk about why I love it so much. I’ll sometimes be joined by some special guests, including our very own Matt, for interesting stories and perspectives on games old and new.

In this first episode I look at the surprisingly successful campaign in Call Of Duty: Vanguard, and try to verbalise how much Rez means to me on its 20th anniversary.

Listen, enjoy, and feel free to make suggestions for future episodes!
You can find all this and more on this episode's homepage.

Hello and welcome to the first Awesome Friday Games Podcast of 2022! This week I’m discussing two games that are connected to graphics vs. mechanics. Hey! Listen!

The first game this week is ‘JETT The Far Shore‘, a title that will leave you exhilarated and frustrated (often at the same time). Then, we take a look at the game getting all the buzz this week, ‘Vampire Survivors‘ (that I also call a variety of things including ‘Vampire Survival’, so please excuse my memory).

Hope you enjoy it!
As always, we want to thank you all for listening. We really do appreciate every one of you. Welcome to the new episode of the Awesome Friday Games Podcast! And as you can see from the title, this week it's all Halo, all the time. There's a little reflection on Halo's significance on its release in 2001, then a look at Halo Infinite and how it compares to the divisive Halo 4. Enjoy!

Greetings programs! Welcome to this weeks episode of the Awesome Friday Movie Podcast. Join us for 50 minutes this week as we discuss two titles that couldn’t be more different: Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales and Titane.

One of these is for kids of all ages, and the other is very much so not, but both are excellent in their own ways.

Read Matt’s initial review of Titane here:

Greetings, programs, and welcome to another Awesome Friday! This week is a little different; we're covering the latest film from Pedro Amaldóvar, Parallel Mothers, which, as it turns out, is an excellent segue into our second topic: the recently announced nominations for the 94th Academy Awards. This episode runs a little longer than our average, but we think it's worth it!

As always, we want to thank you all for listening. We do appreciate every one of you. If you like what you hear, please consider giving us a like, review, and subscribe on your podcasting platform of choice, and if you can spare a few bucks, you could support us via Patreon, Ko-Fi, or Paypal.
You can find streaming links, Matt's Oscar ballot, and all of our other content on this episode's homepage.

Meanwhile, relax and enjoy your flight.
