Awakened Woman Self Care podcast - Episode 72 Olivia Bryant "Changing the conversation around the Cervix"
play

02/13/19 • 41 min

Olivia Bryant, the cervix as final frontier. We taped this episode late in 2018, and in what we think is divine timing, we're airing Olivia Bryant's divine wisdom on the cusp of valentines' day, or Venus day, as we prefer to call it. Olivia is founder of Self:Cervix, a leading edge movement in the field of female sexual empowerment. Within in a short time, Self:Cervix has attracted the attention of world media including Glamour Magazine, German mainstream news media and publicity in Australasia. Over 3000 women have been through the programme from 58 countries. As Olivia shares—the cervix is the least recognized part of female sexual anatomy. It endures the most trauma and it is has the most potential for orgasm. The orgasms produced via the cervix are often described as 'out of this world and transcendent' and yet most women do not have access to it because of lack of education, trauma and tension. Olivia created Self:Cervix to change the conversation around the cervix with the medical profession and educate women around the globe about the power and pleasure at the cervix. Previously, Olivia trained in Sexology and yoga. She has a background in the performing arts. This episode is in perfect timing with thoughts of love, and where better to begin than with the knowing of ourselves. In this episode Olivia shares the journey that led her to awaken to the gifts and the power of her own cervix, and her understanding that opening to these gifts can be part of sacred self care. She talks about the cervix's message, and how it is not just about the bedroom. She shares the joy of leading thousands of women on their own journeys of cervical awakening. Olivia says working with the cervix is fundamental to our homecoming. She also discusses the subject of Tantra and the misconceptions around this. In Eastern traditions the Cervix is related to the first chakra- our sense of belonging our bodies and on this earth - so Olivia asks the question if our cervix is numb (as so many are due to pain or emotions stored there) what is that doing to women psyche and our sense of purpose in the world? Olivia shares the purpose of self cervix and much more in this rich conversation ! Check out Olivia's NEW website and make sure you sign up for the step by step guide.

Awakened Woman Self Care podcast - Episode 143 The New Human Permaculture, what do you want to cultivate now?
play

10/25/21 • 39 min

Podcast host Christine recorded this episode after a short and deeply nourishing personal retreat where she was able to tune into her own natural flow of pure love. A big piece of her journey was the knowing she wanted to physically connect with people in her community who she had only known online. These connections planted the seeds for the unfolding of the new human permaculture image which revealed more of itself on the drive home.

On the return journey Christine was lit up while listening to a podcast on permaculture (see episode link below). As the modern philosophy of permaculture states, it is a working with, rather than against, nature.

The metaphor of permaculture opened into a heart knowing that we are also in this moment on the Earth coming together to create the New Human Permaculture. The joyful and natural exchange of being with no obligation, no hierarchy and complete freedom to expand into more of what our source connected personal instructions call forward. That kind of human permaculture exchange where naturally each human opens into more and more of their own expression, while supporting and activating the whole.

Tune into this episode to connect into what and how you can tend your sacred self care by observing what wants to be cultivated within you right now.

Awakened Woman Self Care podcast - Episode 167 Laura Bolton, a Social Media Liberation journey
play

03/10/23 • 42 min

This engaging and heart opening episode features guest Laura Bolton and what she terms her “radical” decision to leave all social media. As we discovered in our discussion, it’s not just about social media, it’s about everything. Our conversation is an invitation to notice where and how we are participating in any kind of toxic pattern or relationship in our own lives.

Collectively we are stepping away from people, places, and things that are draining us like never before. We have begun to recognize the time to act is NOW. We are at a pivotal moment on this planet where we can choose to drop eons of programs and build something new from our true selves—without distraction, and distortion.

Laura shared some of the reasons behind her decision to leave social media, and the “utter relief” she felt afterward without the “tiniest piece of regret.” She said she feels lighter, calmer and has much more energy to focus on things that matter to her.

Many of us have found connection and comfort in social media particularly over the last few years. Although there were many good things that sprang from that (like feeling understood and less alone) Laura says she was finding the negative frequency and parasitic energies have become more and more prevalent on the platform. She became aware that, for her, social media platforms felt like “a digital slave system that profits from your time and attention.” We discussed how a relationship with anything outside of ourselves can be abusive or toxic when our own thoughts and behaviours become overly influenced. Laura maintains that if examined, most people would find that they do not have a liberated, healthy relationship with social media.

Laura finds asking questions to be a beautiful internal exploration. As she says, no one knows what is best for you, but you, and, it’s really important to self inquire. Here are a few questions that arose from this episode; What am I fearful of missing out on? Is my human need to have certainty limiting me? What is it I would choose for myself? Where/when/by who has my time and attention been hijacked or manipulated? How can I give this relationship/practice/habit up? How do I find my community if I’m not online?

After she made the decision to leave social media, Laura found there were many new opportunities that opened up because she was willing to let go of what wasn’t serving her. She shared some ideas for creating the awareness around whatever toxic situation we find ourselves in, and how to practically allow yourself to explore what is happening in your own life.

It’s possible to shift anything once we become aware and we build in the support we need. We have the power to choose who and what we surround ourselves with.

Awakened Woman Self Care podcast - Episode 186 Continuing to Remember to Become Full of Your True-Self
play

11/14/24 • 35 min

Welcome to the next season of the Awakened Woman Self Care podcast. I’m beginning season 7 with an updated introduction and a reprise of episode 135 which was inspired by the phrase full of yourself, the episode explored the question, “If you’re not full of yourself, who else and what else are you full of?” I was prompted to re-listen myself this morning and it has triggered an even deeper excavation in me. I trust it will invite many of you to do the same.

The episode is an invitation to explore how much self you are full of, and noticing the programs, patterns and habits you are ready to release?

We continue to journey through terrain that is unfamiliar. Ensuring we cultivate more of our true selves is ever more important to navigate these times. As we are finding our new footing in this moment, many of us are watering the new ground with our tears. Those tears can be the emptying out of what is not us and stepping back into filling ourselves up with the truth of who we are and have always been beneath the clutter.

It’s an invitation to expand into more of yourself through the lens of adventure and wonder. An invitation to allow any tears shed to water the ground of you.

My deepest wish for you is to become completely and utterly FULL of yourself - here - now because that is what this world needs.

As I mentioned, this reprise episode was prompted by Kaya Usher. You can find out more about Kaya Usher’s gifted Daily Frequency Activations on Mighty Networks and you can sign up here; https://www.thesimplicityplatform.com/
