We continue in our series “What on Earth is God Doing?” This month in Part 7 "Seeing Jesus through the Larger Lens" we find that too often we get locked into seeing Jesus from our own smaller perspective: “Jesus is my personal savior who died on the cross so I can go to heaven when I die.” This reductionistic view of Jesus prevents us from seeing Him as he really is...as the Larger Story of God presents him and invites us to see him. Seeing Jesus through the lens of God’s Larger Story not only will change our perspective of Him, but it will also give us a larger, transcendent framework from which to see ourselves and understand our own smaller story.
