In this episode I interviewed Nick McCullum from Passiv. Nick explains what Passiv is and how they are a great option for the busy professional who doesn’t have the time to constantly rebalance their portfolio manually. He explains how Passiv is able to make rebalancing your portfolio as easy as clicking a button.
Nick McCullum went to college to study biology when he quickly realized that this particular major did not interest him at all. He wanted to do something different but still graduate within that four-year period. He decided to major in math and that led him into the finance world and eventually to Passiv. In this episode I had the privilege of interviewing Paul Moore. I talk with Paul about speculation versus investment, forced appreciation, and a variety of other topics related to commercial real estate investing. He shares how risky speculating can really dip into your net worth and how proper investing can increase it significantly. Paul is very knowledgeable about investing in commercial real estate, specifically multi-family, self-storage and mobile home parks.
Paul Moore started his professional life at Ford Motor company. His time there was short as he co-founded a staffing firm, becoming a finalist for Michigan Entrepreneur of the Year, two years in a row. Paul and his partner sold their staffing firm to a large publicly traded company and began investing in real estate. He later founded multiple investment and development companies, appeared on HGTV and is contributor to FOX Business and Bigger Pockets. Paul is the co-host on two podcasts called The Art of Investing and How to Lose Money.
